Job Description

A. OVERALL

Fully responsible for ensuring the achievement of volume, revenue, and profit targets according to the business plan of the Fertilizer and Crop Protection Sales Department. Simultaneously, this role is pivotal in strategizing the development of target markets and effectively expanding the network of product distribution channels nationwide.

B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop business plans for fertilizers, crop nutrition, and crop protection products based on seasons/regions/crops, including targets for revenue, volume, profit margins, product/solution portfolios, sales policies, and market development plans.
  • Manage key accounts, dealers, cooperatives, farms, and primary points of sale; develop sales opportunities through nutrition/crop protection solution packages, combined with technical consulting, demo farms, farmer workshops, and market activation activities
  • Propose and implement pricing policies, discounts, promotions, debt management, contracts, and POSM/sales materials within authorized limits; monitor the effectiveness of each program and make adjustments to ensure revenue, profit margins, and control debt risks
  • Collaborate with Solution Management, R&D, QC, Fertilizer Plants, Logistics, Marketing, and Customer Service to ensure product quality, technical documentation, inventory, delivery schedules, complaint resolution, and market feedback
  • Manage sales/KA/channel teams; allocate targets, provide coaching, and evaluate performance; control compliance with regulations on fertilizers, crop protection, labeling, sales documentation, safe usage, and internal processes.

C. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; Master's/MBA is an advantage. Major: Agronomy, Plant Protection, Crop Science, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales of fertilizers, crop protection, crop nutrition, agricultural inputs, or agricultural solutions; at least 3 years in team or channel management.
  • Market planning; P&L management; channel development; product portfolio management; data-driven decision-making based on seasonal/market data; team leadership.
  • Essential Skills: B2B/B2B2F sales; KA/distribution channel management; knowledge of crops, seasons, nutrition, and crop protection; trade marketing; negotiation; debt management; legal compliance regarding fertilizers and crop protection.
