About the Business Information Division

Business Information Services (BI) is one of FiinGroup's core business divisions, specializing in the analysis of non-public companies in Vietnam through company reports, data platforms (FiinConnex, FiinGate Platforms), and in-depth analytical services.

The division processes and analyzes corporate information to help clients manage credit risk and mitigate trade and investment risks in Vietnam. BI's clients include trading and manufacturing companies, financial institutions, consulting and auditing firms, and global credit insurers, among others.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and maintain credit risk models using statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and design solutions aligned with client objectives

• Apply data mining and data wrangling techniques to extract, transform, and clean large datasets

• Conduct research on market trends and best practices in credit risk management noted above to support model development

• Evaluate model performance and provide recommendations for improvement

• Communicate model insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Mentor and train junior team members on best practices in model development and deployment

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Investment, Finance, Auditing, Accounting, or related fields

• At least 2 year of experience in credit risk modelling, preferably within the financial services industry

• Strong skills in statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning

• Experience with risk modelling tools such as SAS, R, or Python

• Experience with SQL and database management tools

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills with critical and creative thinking

• Knowledge of risk management regulations and frameworks is an advantage

• Experience in consulting and research is a plus

• ACCA or CFA certification is a plus
