About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare credit application (including but not limited to Credit Approval Summary, financial rating, business & operation update, risk analysis, financial modeling, CIC checking, ESG checklist, etc.) in accordance with bank's policies for existing & new customers and obtain credit approval within expected timeline;
  • Conduct market research to support for credit analysis/ assessment and client's credit risk management;
  • Assist Relationship Managers to response to credit-related queries from stakeholders (credit, risk, audit, SBV, etc.);
  • Assist Relationship Manager in financial spreading & rating, pricing calculation;
  • Contribute to improve client's RoRWA via facility structuring, security arrangement, etc.;
  • Conduct periodic covenant compliance test, stress test, and periodic client perofrmance monitoring if required;
  • Work with RM and credit to identify clients with early waning signals for timely and necessary action; closely monitor those clients risk and report to the Group on monthly basis;
  • Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports to Head Office/Compliance/ Loan Operation/ Client Fulfilment Service/ CIC.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business, Finance & Banking;
  • Experience in Banking & Finance for at least [2-3] years;
  • Credit assessment, analytics and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;
  • A strong writing & fluently speaking in English.
