Our aim is to break the internet, dominate feeds across platforms, and become a brand that millions recognize instantly as the one making education accessible for all. We are now building an in-house content team and are looking for a world-class creator-strategists who live and breathe YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. If you study creators like MrBeast, Beast Philanthropy, Diary of a CEO, and Behind the Diary, this role is for you.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for editing YouTube (long-form & shorts), TikTok, and Instagram Reels. The ideal candidate understands how to keep audiences watching through retention-optimized editing, storytelling arcs, and visual design.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Storytelling & Narrative Development
- Draw inspiration from high-performing content playbooks (MrBeast, Beast Philanthropy, Diary of a CEO)
- Collaborate with the founders and marketing team to craft authentic narratives.
Editing & Post-Production
- Apply retention-based editing principles (jump cuts, pacing shifts, storytelling beats, curiosity gaps).
- Incorporate graphics, captions, motion design, and sound design.
Optimization & Experimentation
- Analyze content performance and retention metrics to refine future videos.
- Keep up to date with platform trends and algorithm shifts.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in Creative Video Editor role.
- Understand what makes people care about a channel and want to follow, not just what makes them click.
- Strong grasp of audience psychology: why viewers subscribe, why communities form, why some channels break out while others plateau.
- Proven experience in creating high-retention YouTube videos and TikTok/Reels (portfolio required).
- Advanced skills in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of retention-driven storytelling (hooks, pacing, structure, viewer psychology).
- Passion for education, storytelling, and creating content with real-world impact.
- Self-starter, creative problem solver, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Ability to communicate in English
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of motion graphics / 3D animation.
- Prior experience in startups or mission-driven organizations.
