Role Overview

The Country Talent Acquisition Lead will play a critical leadership role in shaping and driving the company's talent agenda. This role partners closely with the Board of Directors and Business Unit Heads to attract and retain top-tier talent in support of aggressive expansion plans.

Beyond traditional recruitment, this role is expected to drive digital transformation across the entire talent acquisition lifecycle, leveraging technology, data, and innovative sourcing strategies to enhance efficiency, scalability, and candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership (BOD, BU Heads) on talent strategy, market insights, and workforce trends
  • Translate business goals into forward-looking hiring strategies and workforce plans
  • Drive alignment across functions to ensure speed, quality, and scalability in hiring

2. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Execution (Digital-First Approach)

  • Design and implement technology-enabled, scalable recruitment strategies to support high-volume and critical hiring needs
  • Lead and uplift the TA team to adopt best-in-class digital recruitment practices
  • Continuously enhance candidate experience through automation, AI tools, and streamlined processes

3. Strategic Sourcing, Talent Mapping & Market Intelligence

  • Build proactive pipelines for critical roles through advanced talent mapping and competitor intelligence
  • Leverage data-driven sourcing strategies, including digital platforms, social recruiting, and global talent channels
  • Maintain deep insights into FMCG talent landscape, emerging skills, and hiring trends

4. Workforce Planning, Analytics & Recruitment Budgeting

  • Partner with HR and Finance to drive data-driven workforce planning aligned with business growth
  • Own recruitment budget with a strong focus on ROI, cost optimization, and channel effectiveness
  • Utilize recruitment analytics, dashboards, and KPIs to drive decision-making and continuous improvement

5. Employer Branding & Digital Talent Attraction

  • Lead and elevate employer branding to position the company as an Employer of Choice in the industry
  • Drive digital-first talent attraction strategies, including social media, content marketing, and employer branding campaigns
  • Collaborate with Marketing to build a strong, consistent EVP across all candidate touchpoints

6. TA Technology & Innovation Leadership

  • Champion the adoption of HR tech solutions (ATS, CRM, AI sourcing tools, automation platforms) across the recruitment lifecycle
  • Identify and implement tools to improve speed, quality, and scalability of hiring
  • Drive a data-driven and tech-enabled TA function, reducing manual processes and enhancing productivity
  • Stay ahead of trends in AI, digital hiring, and future of work to continuously modernize TA practices

Key Requirements

  • 12–15+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong experience in FMCG or similarly fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management at senior/executive level
  • Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, talent mapping, and workforce planning
  • Strong exposure to HR technology, digital recruitment tools, and data-driven hiring practices
  • Commercial mindset with experience managing recruitment budgets and optimizing ROI
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing, agile teams
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and change management skills
