Job Description

The Company:

A leading multinational company is seeking a Country Sales Manager Vietnam to drive business growth and strengthen our market presence for industrial products nationwide. This strategic leadership role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious business objectives in Vietnam. This position can be based in HCM or Ha Noi.

Role & Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Development

  • Develop and execute the national sales strategy with a focus on sustainable growth and market expansion.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify business opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends.
  • Align local sales plans with the company's regional and global business strategies.
  • Strengthen the company's brand visibility and reputation within the industrial sector in Vietnam.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Build, lead, and coach a capable sales team across key industrial hubs in Vietnam.
  • Define clear sales targets and performance KPIs, provide continuous coaching and performance reviews.
  • Foster a results-driven, collaborative culture that promotes innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Customer Engagement and Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key customers, distributors, and business partners.
  • Lead major negotiations and strategic account management to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Act as the key escalation point for major clients, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.

Sales Performance and Reporting

  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance, ensuring achievement of sales targets and profitability goals.
  • Analyze market and sales data to generate accurate forecasts and strategic insights for management decisions.
  • Ensure all commercial contracts comply with company policies and local legal requirements.

Market and Competitive Intelligence

  • Stay informed of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the industrial sector.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve competitiveness and capture new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 810 years in industrial sales management, preferably within heavy industry or B2B technical solutions.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Language: Proficiency in English and Vietnamese (both written and spoken).
  • Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within Vietnam.
