What you'll do:

As Country Sales Manager - Fragrance, you will be entrusted with steering the commercial direction of fragrance sales throughout Vietnam. Your day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around crafting robust sales strategies tailored to local market dynamics while ensuring they are harmonised with regional objectives. You will be instrumental in nurturing long-term relationships with key B2B clients by acting as their primary point of contact-negotiating contracts, resolving issues swiftly, and identifying new business opportunities. In addition to managing your own portfolio of major accounts, you will provide mentorship and oversight to your immediate team members: an Account Sales Manager focused on northern Vietnam and a Customer Service Officer. Collaboration is central to this role; you will work hand-in-hand with evaluation experts locally as well as regionally based colleagues in Bangkok. Regular reporting on performance metrics ensures transparency while keeping everyone aligned towards shared goals. Occasional travel within Vietnam or regionally may be required for meetings or workshops.   • Take ownership of the sales budget forecast for the upcoming year, collaborating with management to set realistic targets and striving to achieve or exceed these goals through effective planning.

  • Coordinate closely with the Evaluation team in Ho Chi Minh City on client fragrance briefs while maintaining functional links with the Evaluation Manager based in Bangkok to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Negotiate commercial terms in accordance with established pricing policies and management guidelines to secure favourable outcomes for both clients and the organisation.
  • Provide timely follow-up reports after each customer visit using standard templates, summarising discussions, feedback received, next steps agreed upon, and updates on ongoing projects for transparency and accountability.
  • Maintain up-to-date tracking tools for all customer projects, opportunities, and planning activities to ensure visibility on priorities and progress at all times.
  • Present consolidated monthly overviews of business performance during regular meetings with regional management, highlighting achievements, challenges faced, and areas for improvement.
