Job Description: National Sales Manager

Industry: Automotive Supporting Products

Sales Model: Direct Sales

Coverage: Nationwide (Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City)

Location based: Ho Chi Minh

Job Purpose

The National Sales Manager is responsible for leading and growing the company's direct sales business for automotive supporting products across Vietnam. This role will manage and develop sales teams in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, drive strategic customer engagement with OEMs and Tier 1/2 suppliers, and ensure sustainable revenue growth and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Develop and execute national sales strategies to achieve revenue, margin, and market share targets.
  • Drive direct sales to automotive garages and dealers etc
  • Identify new business opportunities, new applications, and key accounts within the automotive ecosystem.
  • Lead pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and long-term commercial agreements.

2. Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop sales teams based in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Set clear KPIs, sales targets, and performance management frameworks.
  • Conduct regular sales reviews, pipeline discussions, and forecasting.
  • Build a strong sales culture focused on accountability, customer-centricity, and value selling.

3. Key Account Management

  • Personally manage and develop strategic key accounts and high-potential customers.
  • Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders (Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Management).
  • Coordinate with technical, application, and service teams to deliver tailored solutions.

4. Market & Customer Insight

  • Monitor automotive market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback to management on product gaps, pricing, and go-to-market improvements.
  • Support product positioning and localization strategies for the Vietnam market.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with Marketing, Application/Technical, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and management reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and governance standards.

Requirements

Experience & Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 812+ years of sales experience in automotive supporting products, industrial components, materials, or related sectors.
  • Proven experience in direct B2B sales to automotive OEMs or Tier suppliers.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills across multiple locations.
  • Solid understanding of the automotive value chain and customer decision-making process.
  • Excellent negotiation, contract management, and strategic selling skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong forecasting and pipeline management ability.
  • Strong communication skills in Vietnamese and English.
