ROLE PURPOSE and OVERVIEW

Our Finance & Accounting Team oversees the finance and accounting operations for the company, including our chocolate, food & beverage supply chain.Our main manufacturing site is based in Binh Chieu, Ho Chi Minh City, with 4 regional central kitchens, and 22 Maison Marou retail/caf/patisserie locations around Vietnam.

Our Costing & Inventory Accountants work directly as business partners to ensure the compliance, accuracy & completeness of supply chain related accounting records.

Report to Costing leader

Key Responsibilities

Product Costing

  • Implement, regularly review and update standard product costing across assigned products/product categories.
  • Correctly identify fixed costs, variable costs, direct costs, indirect costs and correctly allocate these costs against products/product categories.
  • Complete month-end costing activities, including accruals and allocations within agreed deadlines.
  • Partner with Finance, Supply Chain & production colleagues on identifying and implementing improvements related to Product Costing.

Inventory Management Controlling

  • Plan, coordinate and supervise monthly inventory cycle counts based on business risk across assigned inventory locations.
  • Plan, coordinate and supervise year-end full inventory counts across assigned inventory locations.
  • Prepare reports on inventory count discrepancies. Assess and resolve physical vs system differences, with approval for inventory adjustments. Implement action plans with internal supply chain & production stakeholders as required.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory movements across the supply chain & production for accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
  • Assess inventory movement discrepancies. Coordinate with internal supply chain & production stakeholders the resolution/correction of any potential discrepancies. Prepare reports for supply chain management on repeatable/patterns of inventory movement discrepancies.
  • During Month-End Close review all inventory related transactions to ensure all in-bound, internal transfers and shipments are completely processed.Complete, on approval, any inventory transaction adjustments and confirm to Finance, production & Supply Chain management that all inventory transactions are completed.
  • Monitor and analyze compliance with inventory management principles, inventory expiry, inventory stock levels, inventory replenishment parameters. Identify opportunities for improvement and prepare appropriate presentations/action plans for internal Finance, production & Supply Chain Management.
  • Complete regular training for internal supply chain stakeholders on correct operating procedures, system usage, inventory management practices and associated key controls.

Digital Transformation

  • With a data & digital mindset, support the digital transformation implementation for Finance, including the design and implementation of standard processes, master data, costing and inventory information within an ERP platform.
  • Support the standardization and implementation of Cost & Inventory Information Groupings & Hierarchies, Organization and Operational master data to support Business and Financial Performance Management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Big 3 experience, ACCA, CPA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
  • At least 3 years of progressive finance experience, specifically in F&B, manufacturing / supply chain industries.
  • Strong proficiency in cost accounting principles, costing methodologies, period close and variance analysis & reporting
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management practices and associated risks and controls
  • Proficiency in excel, BI, MS Office software & tools
  • Strong financial & data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Working time: Monday - Friday (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM)

Working location: Green Building, 160 Street B2, An Loi Dong Ward, Thu Duc City, HCMC.
