Costing Assistant Manager (Temporary 9 months)

Job Title: Costing supervisor (Temporary 9 months)

Function Department: Business Service Center

Location: Ho Chi Minh

Purpose of position:

The Costing Assistant Manager will be responsible for setting up and maintenance of accurate process cost information, reconciliation of standard costs to actual costs, maintenance of perpetual inventory system, participating in the month end close and budgeting process, assisting Reporting & Performance Manager and other stakeholders with day-to-day operations and reporting requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Routine management:

• Perform month-end costing closing on SAP systems for two factories.
• Maintain standard costs for two factories yearly & Ad-hoc case.
• Track, analyse, and benchmark factory manufacturing and development overhead costs.
• Analyse the Variance of Industry Cost, Variance Logistic Cost, Price & Performance variance of materials, Volume variance, Mix variance, Non-operation cost analyst.
• Own the Supply Chain Financial Data (SCFD) and calculated Supply Chain KPIs monthly, weekly
• Track the price of all materials and the usage of all costing components in the production process
• Track the production and sales volume weekly/ monthly to ensure inventory movement and balances were reconciled with the general ledger.
• Simplify the process and define standardized process with all templates.

Customer relationship management

• To meet the satisfaction of customers through effective communication and assistance

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Accounting related fields.
• Knowledge of monthly closing processes, management reporting
• 3-5 years costing experience in manufacturing environment
• Familiar with SAP is a must
• Very good knowledge of finance & accounting processes
• Good statistical knowledge and the ability to apply statistics to product and process improvement projects.
• Strong communication and management of daily operation skills
• Good English communication and negotiation skill
• Good working skills on MS Excel, SAP, workflow
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
