Costing Accountant

Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

• Work as a Costing professional to provide Costing analysis reports and support yearly mass cost update.
• Work as a business partner to provide cost/business analysis and insightful advice to business to achieve strategic objectives and maximize profit.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Engage in cost accounting activities, reporting and analysis.
• Build and maintain costing master data to accurately reflect the cost of manufacturing.
• Provide expense allocation and analysis, monitor workshop and department expenses focusing on expense change trends and providing key metric reports to operation, and support business to eliminate waste and improve profit.
• Involve with related cost reduction programs, i.e. GLSS saving projects, to understand and verify the cost saving, and provide insightful advice for cost reduction and process flow improvement.
• Drive and promote economic thinking and DMF.
• Complete mass cost run and yearly CVST mass update.
• Complete financial month closing accurately and timely.
• Organize regular physical inventory and provide inventory analysis results.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
• Working location: Thang Long 2 IZ, Hung Yen (Shuttle bus from Hanoi/ Hung Yen/ Bac Ninh/ Hai Duong)

Job requirements

EDUCATION:

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree or above. Major in Accounting or related subject

WORK EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

• From 2 to 4 years of working experience as Auditor or Costing accountant or General accountant
• Good knowledge in costing analysis.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

REQUIRED:

• Proficient in spoken and written English and Vietnamese.
• Have good analysis and problem-solving skills, willing to work with Operation and team members.
• Proactive, result-oriented, self-driven, contribution motivated and capable of working under pressure.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g Pivot tables, V&X Lookups, create data modeling, finance return, etc.)
