Job Description
- Advise a diverse portfolio of international and local clients on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters
- Lead and support complex transactions, including structuring, due diligence, drafting, and execution
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents with precision and commercial awareness
- Manage multiple matters simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations are consistently met
- Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical, and business-oriented advice to clients
- Liaise directly with clients, counterparties, authorities, and other external stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across practice groups and offices on cross-border and multi-disciplinary matters
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers (for more senior candidates), contributing to team development and knowledge sharing
- Support business development initiatives, including client relationship management, proposals, and thought leadership where appropriate
- Stay up to date with legal and regulatory developments and assess their impact on client matters
The Successful Applicant
- Excellent communication, drafting, and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver clear and commercially sound advice
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
- Fluency in both English and Vietnamese, with excellent written and verbal communication in both languages
- Prior experience in corporate, M&A or banking sectors
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and professional in approach, with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment, with the ability to adapt and collaborate across cultures
