Department: Corporate Finance
Report to: Corporate Finance Manager/Senior Associate
Key Responsibilities:
Learn to become a Corporate Finance Associate. You will primarily support the assigned sub-team within Investment Banking department
Responsibilities include:
- Participate in investment banking activities such as mergers & acquisitions, IPOs, private placement, restructuring, privatization and equity capital markets
- Perform detailed company valuations, including building financial models, conducting comparable company analyses, and analyzing comparable transactions
- Industry research
- Assist with translation work and meeting preparations
- Perform other tasks assigned by Managers/Senior Associates.
Job Requirements:
- Fresh graduate from RMIT, FTU or University abroad with major in Finance/ banking/ accounting/ auditing background
- ACCA/CFA is an advantage
- Preferably 1 year of experience or at least 2 internships at in investment banking, banking (as a relationship or credit manager) or related such as auditing or asset management
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and understand financial data
- Highly motivated, with leadership potential and a willingness to take on team leader responsibilities
- Ability to deliver high quality work under tight deadlines and work independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- High level of English proficiency (IELTS 7.0 above).
