Job Description

About the Department

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

Job Responsibilities

  • Process and verify various financial transactions and documents accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update customer records, files, and databases with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Handle inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and concise information or escalating issues as necessary.
  • Prepare and generate reports, statements, and other official correspondence as required by departmental procedures.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies under supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant UOB policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support team members with general administrative tasks, including scheduling, data entry, and document management.
  • Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Job requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma or degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative, clerical, or operational support role within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with banking operations and regulatory compliance is an advantage.
