For this project we are seeking a Contracts Expert
Responsibilities:
Contract Management & Administration
- Lead the administration of all project contracts including civil, E&M, and system packages.
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, conditions, and obligations.
- Develop and implement contract management procedures and frameworks.
- Monitor contractor performance against contractual requirements.
Procurement & Tendering Support
- Support preparation of tender documents, including technical specifications and contractual conditions.
- Participate in tender evaluations, bid analysis, and contract award recommendations.
- Ensure alignment with procurement policies and international funding agency guidelines (ADB/World Bank if applicable).
Claims & Dispute Management
- Review, assess, and manage contractor claims including:
- Variations
- Extension of Time (EOT)
- Additional costs and compensation events
- Provide contractual advice on claim entitlements and risk exposure.
- Support negotiation, dispute resolution, and arbitration processes where required.
Variation & Change Management
- Manage contract variations and change orders.
- Evaluate cost and time impacts of variations.
- Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and implementation of changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Contract Management for infrastructure projects.
- Minimum 4–6 years in HSR or railway projects.
