Contracting Manager
Role Overview
The Contracting Manager is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing contracts with hotels, transport providers, and other suppliers to ensure competitive rates and high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities
• Negotiate rates and agreements with hotels, resorts, transport providers, and activity suppliers
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships across destinations
• Monitor market trends, seasonality, and competitor pricing
• Ensure contracts are cost-effective and aligned with company strategy
• Manage allotments, release periods, and special offers
• Resolve supplier-related issues and disputes
• Collaborate with sales and product teams to develop attractive packages
• Maintain accurate contract records and documentation
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Business, or related field
• 3–6+ years in contracting in travel industry. This is a must.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Knowledge of destinations, hotel chains, and tourism suppliers
• Proficiency in contracting systems or travel platforms
