Contract Quality Auditor

Position Overview:

Contract Quality Auditors to join our CEM Supplier Quality Engineering team based in Vietnam. In this role, you will serve as the quality eyes and ears on the ground, conducting regular audits of CEM production lines, manufacturing processes, and component suppliers to ensure products meet rigorous quality standards. You will work closely with CEM SQE engineers, factory cross function teams, and supplier representatives to identify risks, collect critical quality data, and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing partners.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Conduct regular scheduled audits of CEM manufacturing lines, processes, and component supplier sites per established audit plans and checklists.

• Perform Out-of-Box Inspections on materials and finished goods to verify conformance to specifications and workmanship standards.

• Execute In-Process Quality Audits on CEM production floors, identifying deviations from standard operating procedures, workmanship issues, and potential quality risks.

• Support CEM SQE engineers in data collection, organization, and analysis including defect rates, audit findings, and trend reports.

• Conduct onsite verification activities with CEM and supplier teams to validate corrective actions, process changes, and quality improvements.

• Prepare clear and accurate audit reports, non-conformance records, and follow-up action tracking documentation.

• Communicate findings and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including SQE, CEM quality, and supplier representatives.

What We Need to See

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or another relevant engineering or technical discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing engineering.

• Familiarity with quality audit methodologies (process audit, product audit, system audit).

• Basic knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, assembly, testing, packaging).

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection standards.

• Strong attention with observation and documentation skills.

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English for reporting, communication, and collaboration with global teams.

• Ability to travel to CEM and supplier sites within Vietnam and occasionally to other regions as required.

Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd

• Hands-on experience in electronic product manufacturing such as PCB/PCBA, server, networking, GPU, or consumer electronics.

• Background in quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or equivalent).

• Practical experience with quality tools: 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, SPC, MSA.

• Certified internal auditor credentials is a plus (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949).

• Prior experience working with tier-1 CEMs (e.g., Foxconn, Quanta, Wistron, Pegatron) or major component suppliers.

• Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600).

• Experience supporting or working alongside Supplier Quality Engineering teams in a multinational environment.

• Ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese in addition to English and Vietnamese.
