The opportunities
In this role, you will support the factory in building and sustaining a strong Continuous Improvement culture aligned with business priorities. You will use Lean Six Sigma, practical problem solving, KPI transparency, and digital tools to improve efficiency, customer performance, and sustainable operations. You will also help track improvement progress, share best practices, and lead assigned small CI activities in line with Hitachi Energy safety, integrity, and quality requirements.
How You'll Make An Impact
- You will support CI culture deployment, daily management, visual management, and standard work across the factory.
- You will apply Lean Six Sigma and Lean tools to identify waste, solve problems, and improve process performance.
- You will support 5S, audits, action follow-up, standardization, and transparency of abnormalities.
- You will manage improvement ideas, benefit tracking, recognition, and reporting; lead assigned small CI projects.
- You will analyze operational data and support KPI dashboards, Power BI, Power Apps, operation panels, and digital CI reporting.
- You will support strategy deployment follow-up, action plans, KPI tracking, and management review preparation.
- You will support CI training, best practice sharing, Gemba walks, audits, and corrective action follow-up.
- You will comply with company rules and demonstrate Hitachi Energy values of safety and integrity.
- You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical or manufacturing-related discipline, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, or Engineering Management.
- Experience: 2–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in manufacturing, production, quality, industrial engineering, operations excellence, continuous improvement (CI), or related functions.
- Lean & Continuous Improvement Knowledge: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, practical problem-solving methodologies, factory improvement initiatives, and operational KPI management. Lean Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt is preferred.
- Data Analysis & Digital Tools: Strong data analysis and KPI monitoring skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience with Power BI, Power Apps, SAP/ERP systems, or Visual Basic is an advantage.
- Technical Competencies: Knowledge of technical drawings, tools/jigs/fixtures, and manufacturing processes. Exposure to transformer manufacturing is a plus.
- Professional Skills: Strong communication, presentation, teamwork, time management, and follow-up skills; collaborative, organized, innovative, and capable of driving actions through to completion.
