About Tonomo
Tonomo is the operating system for real estate photography businesses. We help photographers across the US, Australia, and beyond automate booking, scheduling, delivery, and payments — so they can spend less time on admin and more time behind the camera. We're a young, passionate team working with some of the top real estate media companies in the world, growing fast on the back of a product our customers genuinely love and recommend to each other.
The Role
We're looking for a Content & Social Media Manager who gets how niche communities work — where growth comes from peer influence, not paid ads, and where the right story told to the right person spreads faster than any campaign.
This isn't a generic social media role. You'll be creating content that speaks directly to a very specific audience — real estate photographers and media company owners — and you'll need to understand what moves them, what they talk about, and what makes them trust a brand enough to recommend it to their peers.
You'll work closely with the founder and our CS team to turn real customer stories, product updates, and community moments into content that drives awareness, loyalty, and referrals across our North American, Australian, and European customer base.
What You'll Do
- Own Tonomo's Instagram presence — short form video, reels, carousels, and stories that feel native to the platform and specific to our world
- Turn real customer stories into content that resonates with our audience — not generic case studies, but peer spotlights that make other photographers think that could be me
- Work with the founder to capture and produce content around product updates, company milestones, and behind-the-scenes moments
- Occasionally appear on camera for product walkthroughs or community-facing content
- Maintain a consistent posting rhythm that keeps our community engaged between product releases
- Support employer branding content for our HCMC hiring push — showcasing the team, the office, and the culture
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of content or social media experience, ideally in a niche B2B or community-driven brand
- Fluent English — your content will reach a primarily North American and Australian audience and needs to feel natural and credible to them
- Strong instinct for what makes niche communities tick — you understand peer influence, social proof, and why the right customer story outperforms any feature post
- Can produce content that feels specific and alive, not generic — you write for real estate photographers, not small business owners
- Comfortable being on camera occasionally — not the main focus but you can show up naturally when needed
- Self-directed — you bring ideas, execute without heavy oversight, and know when to ask for input versus when to just go
- Strong visual sensibility — you understand what looks good on Instagram and can brief or collaborate with designers effectively
What you get
- Ownership — a seat at the table at deciding what we build
- A small, strong team — people who are very good at what they do
- Competitive salary — we pay well so money isn't a distraction
- Grade A office in the heart of District 1
- Full salary during probation + 13th month salary
- 15 annual leave days + 1 birthday leave
- Parking support
- Private health insurance
- Lunch budget
