Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Content Director to lead and oversee all content production activities across Nex24's digital ecosystem.

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, credibility, and quality of all editorial content while driving content strategy, brand positioning, and audience engagement. Content Director will play a critical leadership role in shaping Nex24's voice, reputation, and long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Nex24's overall content and editorial strategy in alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee editorial planning, content production, and publishing across multiple digital platforms.
  • Review, approve, and ensure the accuracy, objectivity, and credibility of all published content.
  • Establish editorial standards, workflows, and quality control processes.
  • Monitor and manage legal, regulatory, reputational, and public opinion risks related to published content.
  • Approve major news topics, special reports, and high-impact content initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor editorial, content, and production teams to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and strengthen Nex24's brand positioning, editorial integrity, and public trust.
  • Stay informed on political, social, economic, technology, and media developments that may impact editorial direction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in journalism, media, digital publishing, or content operations.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience managing editorial or content teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital media, social platforms, and short-form video content ecosystems.
  • Excellent editorial judgment with strong awareness of political, legal, and social issues.
  • Proven ability to identify, assess, and mitigate media, reputational, and compliance risks.
  • Strong crisis communication and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
