Position Overview
We are looking for a Construction Manager / Project Delivery Manager to oversee and coordinate the company's ongoing construction projects.
The role will focus strongly on workforce management, construction team coordination, project progress, quality control, and operational efficiency, ensuring projects are delivered on time and in line with client commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall and execution of multiple ongoing construction projects (4-5 projects)
- Plan and allocate manpower, site supervisors, team leaders, and construction teams across projects.
- Prepare and manage project budgets from the planning stage through completion, ensuring all projects are delivered within the approved budget.
- Build, manage, and develop a reliable construction workforce and contractor network.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and site performance; coordinate solutions to issues arising during construction.
- Work closely with clients, contractors, site teams, and internal departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Develop performance KPIs and project-based salary, incentive, or subcontracting schemes for construction teams.
- Establish and improve processes for project execution, inspection, acceptance, and handover.
- Monitor workforce productivity and optimize manpower allocation across projects.
- Develop practical knowledge of wood flooring, flooring materials, and installation techniques to ensure proper installation standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Construction Management, Project Management, Interior Fit-out, Finishing, Flooring, or related fields.
- Proven experience managing multiple construction projects and coordinating different construction teams simultaneously.
- Strong experience in manpower planning, team management, and on-site problem solving.
- Understanding of wood flooring and installation techniques is an advantage; candidates with strong construction experience and the ability to learn quickly are also welcome.
- Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently under pressure.
- Willingness to travel between project sites as required.
