Role Description:
1. Compliance:
- Set up, implement, and monitor compliance operational plans and policies.
- Implement, assess, and review compliance programs/policies in accordance with the Group's requirements and/or applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare and submit regular compliance reports as provided by the Group.
- Act as the key liaison with regulatory authorities and ensure effective communication between the Company and relevant government agencies.
- Support Head of Department (HoD) in investigating and handling compliance issues arisen during business of the Company.
- Conduct annual compliance reviews and assessments as assigned by the HoD, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Assist the HoD in developing and delivering compliance training and awareness programs for employees across the Company.
- Other compliance tasks as provided by the Group or assigned by HoD.
2. Legal:
- Depending on the assignment of the HoD from time to time, perform one or more legal advisory tasks, including but not limited to (i) monitoring, updating and disseminating the legal regulations; monitoring, managing, and updating the Company's legal document system; (ii) reviewing and/or negotiating contracts for the purchase of goods and services; (iii) providing legal advice on matters relating to the Company; (iv) Assisting the Head of Department in reviewing and preparing documents for working with competent state authorities; etc.
3. Other tasks as assigned by HoD or as required by the job.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in law or higher;
- Experience: At least 02 years of working experience in Compliance or Legal department; candidates having working experience in insurance, banking or finance industry are preferred;
- Professional knowledge: Having general professional knowledge of enterprises, commerce, civil, labor, tax laws;
- Detail oriented; Good at Time & Task Management, Presentation, Negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English across all four skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing); candidates holding an English language certification (e.g., TOEIC 800+ or IELTS 6.0+) are preferred.
