Communications Executive

We are looking for an outstanding and experienced Communications Executive to join our passionate, dedicated, and experienced Marketing and Admissions Department. Reporting to the Director of Admissions and Marketing (DAM) the Communications Executive will be responsible for promoting The British International School HCMC through engaging content that brings to life the unique identity of the school and its core values and brand promises. You will ensure BIS HCMC maintains its unique strong reputation through engaging content across a variety of platforms throughout all phases of our Parent Experience Journey.

Key Responsibilities will include:


To ensure BIS HCMC maintains its unique recognisable, positively viewed, strong and engaging brand within the school community and to prospective parents.
Execute the school communications content strategy across all school communication channels including News & Blogs, social media and website.
Manage the current website content, updating content as requested and as appropriate through the content management system and optimise content across all pages.
Manage and maintain the school's news and blogs section, executing the content strategy to optimise engagement with target readership and ensure that new content is published in a timely fashion.
Write your own new blogs and news articles in a timely manner to be edited and approved by academic colleagues as appropriate and the school DAM.
With the DAM, plan and execute the school's social media strategy ensuring it is timely, engaging and appropriate for key target audience(s), driving reach and engagement.
Write daily social media posts in a timely manner to be approved and signed off by the DAM.
Ensure that the school's visual identity, brand character and tonality is brought to life across all social media.
Work with the academic teams and DAM ensure that all current parents are kept up to date on school news and information especially with support in content, editing and sending our campus weekly updates
Take photography and videography around the school and during school events and activities during both the academic day, Co-Curricular activities and special events, including after school and weekends, with a focus on social media content.
Support the DAM and Marketing Manager to develop a culture where the school engages as one and works to ensure admissions is a whole school responsibility.
Contribute to the sharing of best practice in communications across the MAC school team, and NAE Regional and Central team

Applications are invited from enthusiastic, confident, qualified, and experienced individuals. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is essential and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of communications, digital marketing and/or copywriting experience is essential. Excellent copywriting and editing skills are required especially in writing website and social media content. Outstanding written and verbal skills in English is essential.
