About The Organization
The Vietnam Foundation (VNF), a U.S.-based nonprofit established in 2008, has partnered exclusively with Khan Academy since 2020 to launch the Khan Academy Vietnam (KAV) program. KAV aims to enhance Vietnamese students self-learning capacity through the Open School and Open Class models on the Khan Academy platform.
Responsibilities
- The intern will support communication and community engagement activities to strengthen VNF's brand and expand the Open Class model:
- Recruit and support volunteers running Open Classes;
- Assist students, parents, and volunteers using Khan Academy;
- Develop and execute educational content for social media (Facebook, Zalo, Threads, etc.);
- Participate in organizing events (online/offline);
- Design basic communication materials (banners, posters, short videos).
Requirements
- Passion for education and community development;
- Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, or Adobe tools;
- Awareness of communication and education trends;
- Strong time management skills;
- Minimum 6-month commitment;
- Preferably experienced in education or communications projects;
- Excellent Vietnamese and good English skills.
