JOB PURPOSES
- The Commercial Technology & Data Manager is the single point of accountability for how Commercial operates on technology and data across SEA.
- This role ensures E2E Commercial processes are enabled by integrated systems, trusted data and scalable digital solutions, enabling faster execution, transparency, and better decision-making.
- This role also owns Commercial data, reporting and Infocell capabilities, acting as the Commercial control tower bridging Sales, Finance and Technology, and is critical to sustaining and scaling the Simplification & Foundation transformation.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Own Commercial Technology & Systems Landscape
- Act as business owner for Commercial platforms (SFA, DMS, SAP touchpoints, commercial applications)
- Define roadmap and prioritize enhancements based on business value
- Ensure systems reflect standardized E2E Commercial processes across Distributor, Retailer and Sales Execution, eliminating manual workarounds
- Manage external technology vendors and SaaS solutions, ensuring delivery performance, roadmap alignment, cost efficiency and business value realization
2. Lead Data, Reporting & Infocell Hub
- Own Commercial data ecosystem (master data, data warehouse, reporting layers)
- Deliver one source of truth across Sales, Execution and Financial metrics
- Ensure data quality, reconciliation and governance
3. Deliver Commercial Performance Visibility
- Provide actionable dashboards and insights for Sales and leadership
- Enable performance tracking across volume, execution and financial KPIs
- Drive data-driven decision making across Commercial functions
4. Drive Digital Transformation & Product Delivery
- Lead commercial digital transformation initiatives
- Act as product owner for Commercial solutions and enhancements
- Deliver automation and scalable system-based improvements
5. Lead Commercial Tech & Data Team
- Manage in-house developers, architects, analysts & coordinators
- Ensure delivery of scalable, auditable and business-aligned solutions
- Build strong capability across data, systems and digital delivery
6. Enable Governance & Audit Readiness
- Ensure Commercial data and transactions are system-driven and compliant
- Partner with Finance, Internal Control and Audit teams
- Strengthen controls without impacting business agility
7. Act as Commercial Control Tower & Drive Zone Alignment
- Bridge Sales, Finance and Technology functions
- Align with Zone T&A on platforms, standards, best practices and roadmap
- Ensure simplification, scalability and consistency across SEA markets
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Systems or Engineering;
- MBA or Analytics / Digital background is a plus
Experience:
- 10+ years in FMCG, consumer goods or distribution-heavy industries
- Strong experience in: Commercial systems (SFA, DMS, ERP, BI); Data, reporting and analytics; Digital transformation / product ownership; System integration and automation
- Strong exposure to: Sales, RTM, Distributor models; Commercial Operations, KPIs
- Experience working in matrix or regional organizations is a plus
Language: Fluent in Vietnamese & English
