Role Purpose:
The Commercial Head is responsible for shaping and executing STADA Pymepharco's end‑to‑end commercial strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth, market penetration, and profitability across channels and portfolios.
The role acts as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and Leadership Team, translating STADA Group strategy into strong local commercial execution in a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing and commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Commercial Strategy & Business Leadership
- Define and execute the local commercial strategy aligned with STADA Group priorities
- Drive sustainable growth across core and future portfolios
- Act as a key advisor to the GM and Leadership Team on market opportunities, portfolio prioritization, and growth scenarios
- Lead strategic initiatives including launches, go‑to‑market models, and market expansion
2. Sales & Channel Management
- Oversee sales strategy, execution, and performance across all channels (e.g. retail, wholesaler, hospital, pharmacy chain, e-commerce, etc.)
- Drive sales force effectiveness, coverage, and productivity
- Establish clear targets, incentives, and performance management mechanisms
- Build strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners
3. Forecasting, Performance & Governance
- Track commercial KPIs, sales performance, and market trends
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, STADA policies, and ethical standards
- Contribute to S&OP, IBP, and business planning processes
- Cooperate with Marketing to optimize pricing, promotions, and trade investment effectiveness
4. Leadership & Organization Development
- Build and lead a high‑performing Commercial organization
- Develop strong commercial, leadership, and succession capabilities
- Foster a performance‑driven and values‑based culture
- Act as a role model for STADA values
Required Education and Experiences
a. Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
b. Experiences
- 12–15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience, preferably in:
- Pharmaceutical / Healthcare environment
- Branded generics and/or prescription products
- Multinational or matrix organizations
- Proven experience leading:
- Sales organizations
- Portfolio and launch management
- Commercial transformation or growth initiatives
- Strong exposure to regulated, compliance‑driven environments
