The Commercial FBP (Revenue Growth Manager) acts as the strategic finance partner to the Commercial Director, driving revenue growth, profitability, and cost efficiency across categories. This role plays a critical part in providing financial insights, influencing commercial decisions, and optimizing business performance through data-driven analysis and strategic collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Business Partnering
Act as a mini-CFO for the Commercial Director, providing financial leadership and strategic insight to drive top-line and bottom-line growth.
Partner with Commercial and cross-functional teams (Operations, Services, etc.) to identify growth opportunities and improve commercial performance.
Support the development of commercial strategies, pricing, assortment, and promotional plans to unlock category growth.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis
Oversee P&L management, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
Track key metrics such as sales, margins, fulfillment costs, and inventory efficiency.
Deliver in-depth financial analysis and variance insights to support data-driven decision-making.
3. Revenue Growth & Profitability Optimization
Recommend hero SKUs, pricing actions, and cost optimization initiatives to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with the Services team to drive service revenue, improve cost-to-serve, and enhance brand performance.
Develop business cases for new commercial initiatives and assess ROI.
4. Performance Management & Reporting
Consolidate and present category performance reviews with actionable insights for business improvement.
Identify key risks and opportunities impacting commercial results and advise corrective actions.
Continuously improve financial visibility and reporting efficiency within the commercial function.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an advantage.
2. Experience:
35 years of experience in finance, commercial analysis, or business partnering roles.
Experience in FMCG, Beauty, or F&B industries preferred. Exposure to category management, pricing, or revenue management is a plus
3. Competencies:
Hands-on, proactive, and results-oriented.
Strong financial acumen and P&L management skills.
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking with a commercial mindset.
Strong communication and presentation skills, able to translate data into actionable insights.
Confident to challenge constructively and drive business improvement with measurable impact.
