PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically strong Commercial Data Analyst to support the Global Commercial Excellence Team. In this role, you will transform commercial, market, customer, and performance data into actionable insights that support strategic planning, pricing excellence, commercial governance, forecasting, channel development, and business growth initiatives across regions, channels, and brands.
You will serve as a key analytical partner to the Commercial Excellence organization by developing reports, dashboards, and business analyses that strengthen data-driven decision-making, improve commercial transparency, and identify opportunities for profitable growth. This position is initially established as a 12-month fixed-term role to support the development and implementation of key Commercial Excellence initiatives, reporting frameworks, forecasting processes, and performance management capabilities across the global commercial organization.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Commercial Reporting & Analytics
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve commercial dashboards and KPI reporting, and support the development of global reporting standards and performance tracking frameworks.
- Translate business questions into meaningful analyses and reporting solutions.
- Conduct analyses on sales performance, profitability, pricing, promotions, channel performance, and market development.
- Prepare management-ready reports, scorecards, and presentations to support business reviews and decision-making.
- Present findings, fact-based insights, and recommendations in a clear, concise, and business-oriented manner to support management discussions.
- Develop actionable recommendations to improve growth, profitability, and commercial effectiveness, and support business case development for growth initiatives, market expansion, and commercial projects.
Planning & Data Quality
- Support forecasting, budgeting, and commercial planning processes through analytical insights.
- Consolidate and validate regional performance and planning data.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Commercial Excellence, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product, Business Intelligence, and regional teams to strengthen data quality, transparency, and reporting efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Analytics, Business Intelligence, Sales Controlling, Business Analytics, or a related analytical role.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong Power BI expertise, including dashboard development, KPI tracking, and management reporting.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
- Experience working with international stakeholders in a global business environment.
- High level of ownership, accuracy, and accountability.
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, KNIME, or similar analytical tools.
- Experience within Consumer Goods, Retail, E-Commerce, or Commercial functions.
- Understanding of pricing, forecasting, commercial planning, and performance management processes.
- Experience preparing presentations and management reports for senior stakeholders.
