Job Description

The Cluster Head of IT is responsible for managing and maintaining all IT systems, networks, and technology infrastructure for all Clubs. This role ensures the seamless operation of gaming machines, player tracking systems, and associated IT systems to support business operations and enhance customer experience.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the administration of the Information Technology (IT) Department
  • Responsible for directing and setting expectations with IT team
  • Oversight of network systems including virtual and physical server hardware and software and its security, maintenance, and upgrade with support from the IT Team
  • Oversight of computer systems including desktop computer hardware and peripherals, operating systems including Microsoft Windows, productivity software including Microsoft Office and anti-virus
  • Oversight of all E-Gaming clubs and office related software systems, upgrades and other departmental specific software
  • Oversight of website maintenance and security
  • Oversight of compliance with IT/Gaming related regulatory policies and procedures
  • Direct management of employee computer orientation and training program
  • Direct management of telephone systems
  • Oversight of annual objectives, operating budget and capital budget for the IT Department and report regularly on progress toward objectives
  • Maintain management of computer inventory and develop an annual computer replacement plan
  • Stay current on technological advances in the IT field, research and make recommendations on modern technology to improve operations
  • Prioritize and manage IT projects and coordinate IT purchases for all departments
  • Work with external IT vendors, consultants, and engineers
  • Maintain and develop IT standards, policies and procedures that comply with all Gaming policies and regulations
  • Direct the training and development of IT Team
  • Responsible for overall performance of IT Department and IT Team
  • Must perform assigned duties in a timely manner with minimum supervision
  • Must inventory all equipment and technical assets
  • Required to attend job related, in-service, meetings, and training to maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • Must adhere to all established rules, regulations, procedures and policies of the Company and the IT Department
  • Must maintain compliance with all workplace policies, procedures, ordinances, laws, and other communicated expectations

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in senior IT leadership roles within the gaming or hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Gaming operations, gaming regulations, and IT systems specific to the gaming industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business requirements into IT solutions and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale IT projects, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • Certifications such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are often preferred.
  • Have a general knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, the CMS applications and any other computer application as required to perform duties.
