Role Description The Cluster Assistant Director of Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in Phú Quốc, responsible for supporting the leadership and execution of sales strategies across a cluster of TRIBE & ibis Styles Thom island, Phu Quoc. This role oversees day-to-day sales activities, including managing key accounts, coordinating sales operations, and ensuring effective implementation of revenue-generating initiatives. The position involves collaborating with the Director of Sales & Marrketing to develop business plans, monitor performance against targets, and optimize market penetration in key segments. The Cluster Assistant Director of Sales works closely with hotel leadership teams to align sales efforts with brand standards, guest experience objectives, and profitability goals. Regular tasks include leading and coaching the sales team, preparing reports and forecasts, maintaining strong client relationships, and representing the properties in sales calls, events, and trade activities.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in Sales and Business Development, with a track record of achieving revenue and market share targets.
  • Experience in Sales Operations, including forecasting, reporting, and implementing sales processes and systems.
  • Strong Customer Service focus, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships in a hospitality environment.
  • Proven Team Management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Previous experience in hotel or hospitality sales at a supervisory or managerial level is highly preferred.
  • Solid analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to interpret market trends and develop competitive strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Ability to work on-site in Phú Quốc, with flexibility to attend client meetings, events, and occasional travel as required.
