Cloud Solutions Architect

Cloud Kinetics Vietnam (Hanoi) is hiring CLOUD SOLUTION ARCHITECT.

We're looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect (mid-level) to join our SA team, with a strong foundation on AWS. This is a generalist role across infra and applications (with exposure to data being a plus) you'll work with Account Managers, Senior Architects and delivery teams to design and support real customer solutions on AWS.

What you'll do

• Work with customers to understand requirements and propose cloud solutions on AWS.
• Support presales: workshops, solution design, proposals, estimates and presentations.
• Design end-to-end architectures on AWS, including:

o Core infra (network, compute, storage, IAM/security)

o Application hosting (VMs, containers, serverless)

• Support POCs/pilots for migration, modernization and (where relevant) data/analytics use cases.
• Work with delivery teams to ensure the implemented solution matches the design.
• Keep learning and contribute to internal best practices & reference architectures.

What we're looking for

• 36 years in cloud / system / solution engineering or similar roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (designing and implementing workloads).
• Solid understanding of AWS core services:

o Networking: VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, NACLs

o Compute: EC2, autoscaling, ideally some exposure to containers or serverless (ECS/EKS, Lambda)

o Storage & backup: S3, EBS, basic backup/DR patterns

o Security & identity: IAM, roles, policies, basic best practices

• Comfortable talking to customers, explaining technical concepts in simple, clear language.
• Good English communication and a strong learning mindset.

Nice to have

• Azure exposure: VNets, Azure VMs, Storage, basic IAM / RBAC.
• Data experience at working level, e.g.:

o Building/supporting simple ETL/ELT or data pipelines

o Working with data warehouse/data lake or BI reports

o Good SQL and experience with at least one RDBMS

• Experience with containers (ECS/EKS, AKS, Kubernetes) or CI/CD/DevOps.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, QuickSight, Tableau, etc.).
• Worked at a cloud partner / SI / consulting environment.

Relevant cloud certifications, especially AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional (Azure/Data certs are a plus).
