Responsibilities & Duties
Solution Architecture & Presales
- Work closely with customers to understand business and technical requirements, challenges, and modernization goals.
- Lead solution workshops, discovery sessions, architecture discussions, and technical presentations.
- Design end-to-end cloud architectures across infrastructure, applications, security, networking, and data platforms.
- Support presales activities including solution proposals, effort estimation, architecture diagrams, and technical responses.
- Provide technical advisory on cloud migration, modernization, DevOps, security, and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies.
- Present architecture recommendations and solution approaches to customer stakeholders and leadership teams.
Cloud & Infrastructure Design
- Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud solutions on AWS and/or Azure.
- Architect solutions covering:
§ Networking (VPC/VNet, routing, connectivity, security)
§ Compute (VMs, containers, Kubernetes, serverless)
§ Storage & backup
§ Identity & access management
§ Observability & monitoring
§ Disaster recovery & business continuity
- Design cloud governance, landing zones, security frameworks, and operational best practices.
- Define Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation strategies using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Delivery & Technical Leadership
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure implementation aligns with approved architecture and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership during migration, modernization, and implementation projects.
- Review low-level designs, implementation plans, and deployment strategies.
- Support troubleshooting, optimization, and technical escalation activities where required.
- Mentor junior cloud engineers and solution architects.
Data & AI Enablement
- Collaborate with Data & AI teams to support modern data platform and AI/ML solution architecture initiatives.
- Support architecture discussions involving:
§ Data Lake / Data Warehouse modernization
§ AI/ML integration
§ Cloud-native analytics services
§ GenAI platform adoption
Stakeholder Management & Governance
- Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and regional leadership.
- Ensure architecture decisions align with customer business objectives, security standards, and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to internal best practices, reusable architecture patterns, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 7–12 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Architecture, or Solution Architecture roles.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud solutions on AWS and/or Azure.
- Experience leading cloud migration and modernization programs for enterprise customers.
- Strong knowledge of:
§ Cloud networking
§ Security & IAM
§ Containers & Kubernetes
§ Serverless architectures
§ Backup & DR strategies
§ Cloud governance & compliance
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as:
§ Terraform
§ CloudFormation
§ Bicep / ARM Templates
- Familiar with DevOps and CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Experience working in customer-facing consulting, system integration, or managed services environments.
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience supporting presales and proposal activities is highly preferred.
