Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect (SA) with proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end (E2E) solutions in the Retail domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to develop and implement robust, scalable retail solutions that align with business objectives and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- E2E Solution Design: Lead the architecture and design of comprehensive, integrated solutions across the entire retail value chain (e.g., WMS, POS, OMS, e-commerce, supply chain, CRM, merchandising).
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to gather requirements and translate them into architectural solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical direction and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Documentation: Create high-quality architectural documentation, including solution blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications in English.
- Integration: Design and oversee system integrations between core retail platforms, third-party applications, and external partners.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Support Delivery: Guide development teams during implementation, resolve technical issues, and ensure E2E alignment with the solution architecture.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging retail technologies and trends; proactively propose architectural improvements for business growth and efficiency.
- Risk Management: Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, with significant exposure to the retail domain.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering E2E solutions in complex retail environments.
- Strong knowledge of retail business processes and systems (ERP, POS, e-commerce, CRM, supply chain, etc.).
- Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills in English.
- Hands-on experience with integration technologies, APIs, middleware, and cloud platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work cross-functionally.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with microservices, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.
- Retail industry certifications or relevant technical certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools
