FPT Software is looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer (AWS / Datadog) to join a key program serving major global customers. In this role, you will be the primary expert for cloud infrastructure operations and observability — managing AWS environments and delivering high-quality technical support for Datadog monitoring platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Cloud Infrastructure Operations (AWS)
- Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring stability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor cloud-based systems and applications in both cloud and on-premises environments.
- Administer container services including Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker.
- Manage and configure databases (Oracle/MySQL/RDS) and proxy services (Squid, HAProxy).
- Ensure integration between AWS services and cloud-native components.
- Apply security best practices and participate in compliance/governance activities.
Datadog Monitoring & Support
- Receive and handle technical questions/requests related to Datadog — providing customer support via tickets, email, and Zoom.
- Perform Datadog ticket escalation and resolution.
- Analyze features and respond to/clarify requests using Datadog documentation.
- Perform additional Datadog-related tasks such as ORG analysis reports.
- Set up, configure, and troubleshoot the Datadog Agent on Linux/Windows environments.
- Support APM, distributed tracing, log management, and infrastructure monitoring use cases.
REQUIREMENTS
[Required]
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure operations.
- Experience in infrastructure/APM monitoring in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows operating systems, including Datadog Agent setup and configuration.
- Experience with container services (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Basic knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS/Azure, including integration with cloud-native services.
- Basic knowledge of Oracle/MySQL and RDS.
- Basic knowledge of proxies (Squid, HAProxy).

- Datadog Fundamentals Certification.
- APM and Distributed Tracing Fundamentals Certification.
- Log Management Fundamentals Certification.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certification.
