The Client Manager - Food is responsible for conducting audits and assessments to verify client compliance with applicable food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role ensures that audits are performed impartially, consistently, and in accordance with defined BSI and accreditation requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform audits against food sector standards (e.g., ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP).

  • Assess client processes, documentation, and controls based on objective evidence.

  • Identify and document nonconformities clearly and accurately.

  • Prepare and submit audit reports within required timelines.

  • Communicate audit scope, plans, and outcomes during audit meetings.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food safety standards and industry requirements.

  • Follow internal procedures, accreditation rules, and quality expectations.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Agriculture, or related field.

  • HACCP training (Codex-based).

  • Experience in food manufacturing, food safety, quality, or auditing.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.

Working Conditions

  • Combination of remote work, office work, and onsite audits in food production environments.
