Work closely with project managers to establish project timelines and designs
Develop diagrams and visual aids and prepare design specifications
Execute project based on outlined criteria
Planning & design: review architectural and structural drawings, ensuring they align with factory layouts and production requirements.
Technical specifications: develop and review URS (User Requirement Specifications) for civil works, including flooring, drainage, cleanroom partitions, and structural steel.
Contractor management: supervise civil contractors on-site to ensure construction aligns with approved designs and technical standards.
Quality control: inspect materials (concrete, steel, finishing materials) and monitor the execution of construction milestones.
Project progress: track civil work schedules using MS Project and report deviations or risks to the Department Director.
Compliance: ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, fire safety (PCCC) regulations, and Food Safety (HACCP/ISO) requirements for factory environments.
Documentation: manage project dossiers, including site diaries, inspection records, and as-built drawings for final handover.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; priority for graduates from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Bach Khoa) or University of Architecture.
5 years of civil engineering experience in industrial construction, specifically in food & beverage (F&B).
Work location: Based in HCMC; willingness to travel for business/work at provincial sites as required.
Experience with AutoCAD.
Strong organizational, analytical, communication skills and design skills.
Strong knowledge of industrial construction standards and building materials.
Understanding of cleanroom standards and hygienic design in food manufacturing.
Proficiency in reading structural and MEP coordination drawings.
