Overview:
The Director of Continuous Improvement leads CI across all current and future sites. This role:
- builds the CI organization
- drives measurable operational performance
- accelerates Industry 4.0 adoption
- strengthens the long-term capability of teams across Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities
Build and Scale the CI Function
- Develop a structured CI organisation across all existing and new facilities.
- Establish frameworks, standards, capability models, and reporting structures that support sustainable growth.
- Create consistent CI practices adopted across departments and sites.
Deliver Measurable Operational Impact
- Achieve validated improvements in OEE, cycle time, throughput, quality, and cost.
- Ensure transparent ROI tracking and monthly reporting to the GM.
- Lead CI initiatives that reduce waste, improve resource efficiency, and contribute to the Group's science-based sustainability targets.
Industry 4.0 Acceleration
- Identify and deploy advanced manufacturing technologies including MES, digital work instructions, machine vision, IoT, and predictive analytics.
- Pilot solutions quickly, scale proven successes, and discontinue low-value initiatives.
- Strengthen the integration between digital tools and everyday manufacturing processes.
Process Optimisation Across the Network
- Standardise best practices across all facilities while adapting sensibly to local conditions.
- Improve line balancing, changeover times, material flow, and stability.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and TPM methodologies in a pragmatic, real-world manner.
Capability Building & Culture Development
- Build organisation-wide CI capability through structured training and coaching.
- Develop a network of CI champions across departments and sites.
- Strengthen analytical and problem-solving skills at all levels of the organisation.
Leadership & Communication
- Communicate progress with clarity and transparency, aligned with Scandinavian leadership values.
- Escalate obstacles early, propose practical solutions, and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Partner with Quality, Production, Planning, and Maintenance to deliver unified operational improvement.
Job Requirements:
Who You Are
- 12+ years of CI/IE/Operational Excellence leadership, ideally with multi-site responsibility.
- Strong grounding in Lean, TPM, and modern industrial engineering tools.
- Comfortable with digital tools, data analytics, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
- Experience in European or international manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
