CHINESE SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
Location: Binh Co Industrial Zone
Working hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday - Saturday (02 Saturday off/month).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Identify, research, evaluate, and develop potential suppliers in the Chinese market to meet the Company's requirements for quality, pricing, and production capacity.
- Issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), collect, compare, and analyze quotations from Chinese suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms.
- Work directly with Chinese suppliers to discuss and clarify requirements related to products, materials, quality standards, and relevant technical requirements (ISO, IATF, etc.).
- Conduct on-site surveys and assessments at factories/suppliers in China; evaluate production capacity, quality management systems, factory conditions, and other relevant criteria.
- Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, payment terms, delivery terms (Incoterms), lead times, warranty/compensation policies, and other commercial terms.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chinese Language, Foreign Trade, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Economics, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar position; candidates with experience in purchasing, supplier development, or international procurement are preferred.
- Good knowledge of supplier sourcing, preliminary assessment, evaluation, and development processes.
- Understanding of purchasing operations and international trade terms, particularly Incoterms and international payment methods.
- Proficient in all four Chinese language skills; able to communicate and negotiate directly with suppliers, as well as read and draft documents/contracts in Chinese.
- Willing and able to travel overseas when required.
