Job Role

The Regional Director – Vietnam is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for driving market expansion, strategic client acquisition, and regional business growth across Vietnam's garment manufacturing sector. Acting as both a commercial hunter and relationship leader, the role focuses on developing high-value partnerships with garment factories, sourcing offices, apparel buying houses, and international fashion brands.

This position requires a highly connected and commercially aggressive leader with deep experience in apparel manufacturing supply chains, key account management, and regional sales team leadership. The successful candidate will oversee sales operations, strategic PR activities, customer development, and long-term commercial growth throughout Vietnam's key textile and garment production corridors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional sales and market expansion strategies across Vietnam's garment and textile manufacturing industry.
  • Build strong relationships with garment factories, apparel brands, sourcing offices, procurement leaders, and buying houses.
  • Lead strategic public relations and account development activities to secure long-term business partnerships and product designation opportunities.
  • Conduct market intelligence analysis covering customer demand, competitor activity, pricing structures, and industry trends.
  • Manage regional sales operations, performance tracking, KPI implementation, and target achievement initiatives.
  • Lead, mentor, and strengthen local sales teams while improving operational execution and customer engagement quality.
  • Coordinate customer sampling processes, quotation management, delivery follow-up, and after-sales support activities.
  • Oversee payment collection processes, commercial negotiations, and contract execution for major accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing teams and headquarters to ensure operational alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the organization during factory visits, business networking events, trade exhibitions, and industry activities.

Requirements


  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales management experience within garment accessories, textile components, apparel trims, zippers, buttons, or related manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven track record managing high-value accounts within garment manufacturing or fashion supply chain industries.
  • Strong experience building and leading sales teams in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Deep understanding of garment factory ecosystems, apparel production workflows, and sourcing operations.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and strategic business development capability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with strong commercial instincts.
  • Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, target-driven environments.
  • Professional fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is mandatory.
  • Vietnamese nationality or valid long-term working rights in Vietnam.
