We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team and drive financial excellence during a critical phase of operational scaling and efficiency enhancement.
The CFO will lead the Finance, HR, and IT functions with a mandate to build a performance-driven culture, uplift team capabilities, and ensure cost transparency, process discipline, and strategic alignment across the organization. The role requires deep collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Procurement, Supply Chain, Production, Maintenance, and Engineering, ensuring each function is supported with financial insight, data-driven decision-making, and people development.
Responsibilities:
As part of an executive management team, you will have interaction with various members of a company, both senior and junior.
Leadership of HR, IT, and Finance
- Build and mentor high-performing teams across Finance, HR, and IT, ensuring alignment to organizational goals.
- Strengthen team capabilities through skill development, coaching, and performance management frameworks.
- Shape a collaborative, transparent, and continuous improvement culture across support functions.
Governance, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese regulations, group financial policies, and reporting timelines (VAS, IFRS).
- Own monthly closings, group reporting packages, and audit coordination.
- Oversee tax, treasury, and external relationships with banks, authorities, and legal counsel.
Treasury, Tax & Compliance
- Manage working capital, capex control, and banking relationships.
- Oversee tax compliance (direct, indirect, transfer pricing) and regulatory filings.
Systems & Operational Finance
- Champion ERP implementation or enhancements (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other).
- Lead digitization of financial processes (e-invoicing, reporting automation, BI tools).
- Standardize processes across plants, warehouses, and regions.
Strategic Finance & Business Scaling
- Partner with the CEO/MD to define and execute financial strategies to support business expansion (e.g. new product lines, local production setup, footprint optimization).
- Lead the development of long-term business plans, scenario analysis, and investment prioritization.
Cross-Factory Collaboration & Global Synchronization
- Act as the financial bridge between the Vietnam factory and other group factories/units globally.
- Promote best-practice sharing, benchmarking, and process harmonization (especially in costing, ERP utilization, automation, and compliance).
- Participate in global finance forums and regional initiatives to align local efforts with corporate priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (required).
- Professional certifications: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent (required); MBA is a plus.
- At least 15 years experience in finance roles, with 5+ years in a senior leadership position in an FDI manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional leadership (Finance + HR + IT) in a complex, fast-growing organization.
- Strong understanding of cost control, factory finance, production KPIs, and people development.
- Experience in working with or aligning multiple manufacturing sites across countries is a strong advantage.
- ERP (SAP/Oracle) and business intelligence (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) implementation experience.
