SUMMARY

Galaxy Education is Vietnam's premier EdTech ecosystem. We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused CEO to lead FUNiX, our flagship online IT education platform, through its most critical scaling phase.

As the CEO, you will not just manage an organization; you will be the Architect of Growth. You will evolve the FUNiX Wayour unique mentor-driven, self-learning modelinto a regional powerhouse. This role demands a Founder-Operator hybrid: someone who can design a 10,000-foot strategy one hour and dive into the unit economics of a B2B deal the next. We are looking for a leader to bridge the gap between education and the global digital economy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Vision & Ecosystem Expansion

  • Scale the FUNiX Way: Drive the long-term strategy to solidify FUNiX as the gold standard for digital IT education in SE Asia.
  • Unlock New Verticals: Identify and capture high-growth opportunities in Enterprise Upskilling (B2B), International Markets, and University Integrated Programs.
  • Future-Proof the Model: Anticipate shifts in the tech landscape (AI, Cloud, Cybersecurity) to ensure curriculum and delivery remain ahead of industry needs.

2. Operational Excellence & P&L Mastery

  • Full P&L Ownership: Deliver aggressive yet sustainable growth in revenue and profitability, maintaining world-class Unit Economics.
  • Performance Architecture: Build and lead a high-accountability culture using data-driven frameworks (OKRs/KPIs) that align every department with the bottom line.
  • Capital Efficiency: Optimize resource allocation to balance rapid scaling with healthy cash flow management.

3. Product Innovation & Learning Outcomes

  • Tech-First Pedagogy: Oversee the evolution of the FUNiX platform, leveraging AI and data analytics to personalize the learner journey and increase engagement.
  • Quality at Scale: Ensure that as we grow, the Learner-to-Job success rate remains our primary North Star metric.
  • Mentor Network Management: Scale our unique mentor ecosystem to ensure a seamless, high-touch support experience for thousands of students simultaneously.

4. Problem-Solver-in-Chief & Execution

  • Break Bottlenecks: Actively identify and dismantle operational friction in sales, marketing, and student success.
  • Agile Leadership: Pivot strategies quickly in response to market feedback or competitive pressures without losing organizational momentum.
  • Cultural Evangelist: Foster a culture of Extreme Ownership, transparency, and continuous learning within the leadership team.

5. Strategic Partnerships & External Influence

  • Build the Tech Bridge: Forge deep alliances with global tech giants, local enterprises, and academic institutions to create a seamless Learning-to-Earning pipeline.
  • Investor Relations: Represent FUNiX in high-level investor discussions, strategic negotiations, and potential M&A activities alongside the Group leadership.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Leadership & Strategic Experience

  • Executive Track Record: 15+ years of total professional experience, with at least 57 years in a P&L-owning role (CEO, Managing Director, or Country Head).
  • Scale-up Expertise: Proven success in scaling a business unit or startup from Series B/C to profitability or toward a successful exit.
  • P&L Mastery: Demonstrated ability to manage complex budgets exceeding $10M+ USD, with a sharp focus on Unit Economics (CAC, LTV, Magic Number) and sustainable growth.
  • Operational Grit: Experience navigating a company through significant market shifts, organizational restructuring, or rapid digital transformation.

2. Industry & Technical Acumen

  • Tech-Native Mindset: A deep understanding of digital platforms, SaaS, or EdTech. You don't need to code, but you must understand how AI, Data, and Cloud impact the future of learning and the global job market.
  • Ecosystem Builder: A strong existing network or the ability to quickly build one within the Global/Regional Tech industry, Venture Capital circles, and Enterprise (B2B) sectors.
  • Product-Led Growth: Experience in leveraging product and technology to drive user acquisition and retention, rather than relying solely on aggressive marketing spend.

3. Problem-Solving & Execution (The Founder DNA)

  • Analytical Rigor: A data-first approach to decision-making. You should be as comfortable with a Cohort Analysis as you are with a Strategic Roadmap.
  • Extreme Ownership: A no-excuses leadership style. You are the Problem-Solver-in-Chief who can identify root causes and implement systemic solutions.
  • Agility: The ability to move from high-level boardroom strategy to hands-on execution in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

4. Educational & Communication Excellence

  • Academic Pedigree: Bachelor's degree from a top-tier Vietnamese or Global institution. An MBA or Advanced Degree from an Ivy League or equivalent (INSEAD, LBS, Stanford, etc.) is highly preferred and viewed as a marker of global strategic perspective.
  • Linguistic Precision: Native or near-native fluency in Vietnamese and professional mastery of English. You must be able to inspire a local team while commanding a boardroom of international investors.
