Job Summary

  • Oversee the overall accounting function of the group, ensuring accurate and timely reporting in accordance with VAS and IFRS standards.
  • Manage and mentor senior accounting leads, including the Head of Accounting Operations and Tax, and drive accountability across sub-teams.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and consolidation for all entities within the group.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, tax obligations, and group reporting policies.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions, supporting credit facility applications, KYC processes, and day-to-day banking operations.
  • Act as a key liaison with external auditors, tax authorities, and internal control for audit and regulatory reviews.
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting systems, controls, and Standard Process Operations (SPOs).
  • Review and approve all key financial statements, disclosures, and internal reports submitted to the board and executive leadership.
  • Partner with the CFO and strategic finance team on business transformation projects, ERP migration, IPO preparation, and due diligence for M&A.
  • Ensure timely preparation of management accounts and support the CFO in business planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead internal training and knowledge sharing to continuously improve technical accounting knowledge and operational excellence across the accounting team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification (required).
  • 10+ years of accounting and finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or Chief Accountant role.
  • Strong experience in group reporting, consolidation, and multi-entity structures.
  • Solid knowledge of VAS and IFRS.
  • Experience leading audits, tax inspections, and compliance reviews.
  • ERP implementation experience preferred (NetSuite is a plus).
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and multitasking skills.
