Description
Notice: This position requires working onsite full Saturdays.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS), tax regulations, and legal requirements applicable to manufacturing companies.
Prepare, review, and take full responsibility for statutory financial reports and tax filings, including Financial Statements (FS), Corporate Income Tax (CIT), Value-Added Tax (VAT), Personal Income Tax (PIT), Foreign Contractor Tax (FCT), transfer pricing documentation, and tax refund dossiers on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Manage and control tax compliance for manufacturing operations, including: Prepare Expense and Cash Flow Projection
Input/output VAT for domestic and export sales Training and Supervision of Finance Staff
VAT zero-rate treatment for exports and on-spot import/export transactions
Tax incentives for manufacturing projects (if applicable)
Tax refund processes related to export activities
Ensure compliance with transfer pricing regulations, including preparation and coordination of TP documentation for related-party transactions common in manufacturing groups.
Oversee cost accounting and inventory-related accounting, including raw materials, WIP, finished goods, standard costing, and production variance analysis, ensuring consistency between accounting records and actual manufacturing operations.
Analyze financial data such as production costs, margins, and cash flows to support management's understanding of operational performance and tax impact.
Manage the accounting system, including chart of accounts, cost centers, and accounting records, in compliance with VAS and statutory requirements for manufacturing entities.
Act as the company's authorized representative to work with Tax Authorities, Customs, Statistics Office, Big 4 auditors, banks, and other regulatory bodies on accounting, tax, and compliance matters.
Lead and support tax audits, customs inspections, tax refund reviews, and statutory audits, ensuring proper documentation, explanations, and risk mitigation.
Organize, lead, assign tasks, and supervise the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, internal control, and compliance across all accounting and tax processes.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance.
- 8+ years of experience in similar roles, ideally in manufacturing companies
- Strong analytical, organizational, and financial evaluation skills.
- High sense of responsibility, integrity, and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and tax regulations.
