Job Description
- Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Compile statutory accounting submissions in alignment with Vietnamese Accounting Standards and relevant regulatory guidelines.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all accounts are properly reconciled.
- Liaise with external auditors, financial institutions, and government bodies as necessary.
- Evaluate and enhance accounting workflows, internal control measures, and financial procedures to strengthen operational effectiveness and reduce risks.
- Track cash flow, working capital metrics, and payment timelines to ensure stable business operations.
- Provide financial analysis and cost-related insights to support management decisions.
- Maintain complete and compliant accounting documentation and oversee proper record retention.
- Support ERP/SAP accounting modules and ensure adherence to financial system standards and processes.
- Develop financial analyses, management reports, and presentation materials to facilitate performance reviews and executive decision-making, along with other tasks assigned by leadership.
The Successful Applicant
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Chief Accountant Certificate is a must.
- Over 7 years of accounting experience, including at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or Chief Accountant role in Manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Good understanding of costing, inventory accounting, and internal control.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems, SAP experience is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good English skills.
