As a Chartering Executive, you will support the Chartering Manager in securing cargo, negotiating charter deals, and ensuring smooth and profitable vessel operations. You will play a key role in market analysis, business development, stakeholder coordination, and charter execution.
Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis & Business Development
- Monitor freight market trends, vessel supply, and cargo demand.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and strengthen relationships with brokers, shipowners, and cargo clients.
Chartering Operations
- Support negotiation and finalization of charter party agreements.
- Ensure all contractual terms are monitored, fulfilled, and documented properly.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Assess risks related to chartering deals and suggest mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with chartering procedures and international regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with shipowners, brokers, cargo operators, and internal teams to ensure smooth charter execution.
Reporting & Improvement
- Prepare reports on chartering activities, market updates, and performance metrics.
- Recommend opportunities to enhance processes and profitability.

- Knowledge of international maritime regulations.
- Native or Fluent Mandarin proficiency (including dialects where required).
