Role
-Have a deep understanding of how a specific category performs - covering market dynamics, consumers and competitors
-Turn data into actionable strategies for category/brand growth
-Responsible to support driving category/channel/PPA strategy and execution to maximize the growth based on impactful analysis and insight generation.
What you'll do
1. Performance Tracking & Diagnosis:
- Manage monthly category performance monitoring and diagnosis (OR) for in-charge categories and multi-brands: provide comprehensive story (what work, does not work vs. plan) with fact-based insights to imply potential actions. Leverage all data sources including Nielsen Retail Audit, Internal data, Brand health tracking (if relevant), integrating with market visit or observation or integration with relevant functions - trade, planning, RGM,...
- Be in-charge of ad-hoc requests/performance analysis preparation to support relevant forums (BOD)
- Be in-charge of monthly delivery (Monthly share report) for categories in charge.
2. Strategic Decision Support:
- Be responsible for yearly performance audit together with CI team to define clear growth drivers and impactful I&O to support Category/Channel/RGM/RTM on AOP
- Be responsible to have Tet performance review (what work, does not work) together with key consumer insights to define Tet formulation/strategy & impactful execution.
3. Category Insight Generation:
- Detect and provide up-to-date market landscape and opportunity including (category, customers, shoppers/consumers, competitor ...) to support/guide category/channel/RGM/RTM team on strategy or on-going execution).
- Consult Marketing, Category Strategy, RGM in building up the PPA initiatives
- Enhance competitor intelligence to anticipate their potential movement to support business having counteract plan (Porfolio focus, region/channel focus, pack mix focus...)
4. Others:
- Other ad-hoc requests to support for business
- Other tasks as assigned by Line Manager
