Job overview
- The Card Domain PMO Specialist provides hands‑on domain advisory and PMO support to the Project Management Office for a domestic (VN) credit card implementation program.
- This role is bringing deep card and payment expertise, ensuring project decisions, plans, and deliverables are aligned with card lifecycle, scheme requirements, and industry best practices.
- The position acts as a trusted domain advisor and senior project member throughout planning, execution, UAT, and go‑live.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide domain advisory to the PMO and project team across the end‑to‑end card lifecycle, including NAPAS (VN) and scheme integration.
- Review and challenge project plans, assumptions, and milestones to ensure card‑specific activities, sequencing, and risks are properly addressed.
- Support requirements, solution design, and RFP preparation from a card business, operational, and compliance perspective.
- Advise on UAT strategy, certification readiness, cutover, and go‑live/hypercare planning for card products.
- Act as the card domain focal point in vendor and scheme discussions, supporting PMO decision‑making and stakeholder alignment.
Requirement
1. Experience
- 5+ years of experience in cards and payment domain within banking, fintech, or card processing
- Hands‑on involvement in at least one credit card implementation project, preferably including:
- Issuing or processing systems
- NAPAS integration and certification
- Practical exposure to UAT, scheme certification, and production go‑live
- Experience working in project or PMO environments (as domain expert, BA, solution lead, or consultant)
2. Skills & Competencies
Domain Knowledge:
- Credit card business and operational flows
- Payment processing and settlement concepts
- Common card implementation risks and pitfalls
- Familiarity with NAPAS standards and documentation is a strong advantage
Communication & Language
- English: Professional working proficiency
Certifications/Background (Preferred)
- Prior involvement in NAPAS‑related projects
- Experience working with international card schemes (Visa / Mastercard)
- Background as:
- Card Business Analyst
- Card Solution Consultant
- Card Implementation Lead / SME
