YOUR TASKS
- You will perform structural mechanical analyses (linear and nonlinear) for products subjected to static and dynamic loads and derive decisive optimization potential from these analyses.
- Based on your evaluations of simulation results, you will develop sustainable and innovative improvement solutions for our products.
- You will ensure the robustness and reliability of our devices by performing strength and service life tests in the context of a virtual design validation.
- As a competent contact person, you will advise and support our development teams from design and testing in all structural mechanical issues.
- You will shape the future of our development by creating automated simulation processes and thus ensuring greater efficiency.
- By carrying out method development projects, you will expand our simulation methodology and keep our know-how at the cutting edge of technology.
- You will contribute to the global exchange of knowledge by actively supporting our worldwide simulation hubs.
Your Qualifications
Relevant professional experience in structural simulation (FEM), preferably in product development.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace, Engineering, or similar fields
First Experience in CAE-Tools for structural mechanic
ABAQUS, Hyperworks, or similar
Solid understanding of mechanics, strength of materials, dynamics, vibrations and numerical methods
