ENGINEERING SERVICES and are looking for a
CAD DRAFTER to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality projects to our clients.
Job Description
Working as part of an expanding team and reporting to the principal surveyor/operations manager. You will work closely with other CAD Drafter(s) and Asbestos surveyors on a wide variety of projects to deliver completed 2D AutoCAD/ VISIO drawings to produce floor plans, elevations and also topographical drawings. The role will also entail providing drafting support to other disciplines within the business.
Qualifications
- High level of competency and experience using AutoCAD (and other Autodesk products) and VISIO ideally within a building survey-based environment.
- Experience with the production of 2D drawings.
- Knowledge of the latest industry standards relating to Asbestos surveys.
- Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to check drawings put together by the surveyors.
- Working knowledge of layering, external references, coordinate grids, datums and sheeting up drawings.
- Excellent time management skills with an emphasis on delivery and meeting delivery schedules.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team.
