Recognizing this, Viettel Cyber Security's
Enterprise Product Center has developed
Viettel Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) – VCS-AJiant. This solution monitors abnormal behavior on endpoints. Unlike traditional antivirus software,
VCS-AJiant focuses on detecting and responding to sophisticated
APT attacks – one of today's most serious threats.
VCS-AJiant functions as a digital surveillance camera system, recording every action across the entire network, intelligently analyzing and correlating data for early detection, alerting, and immediate prevention of attacks.
Linux Kernel Applications in Security – Why It Matters
In today's cybersecurity ecosystem, the
operating system is a critical link in the defense chain. Whether it's VPNs, firewalls, or antivirus software, all operate on an OS platform – the primary target of many cyberattacks.
Linux, as a prevalent operating system for servers, is particularly vulnerable to malware and APT attacks. Hackers can exploit OS vulnerabilities to gain root access, write malicious data to the system, open stealthy backdoors, or interfere with the memory space of other processes.
Therefore, modern security solutions like
Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) must integrate kernel modules to deeply intervene with the operating system. For instance,
VCS-AJiant – a product from Viettel Cyber Security – can detect dangerous attack behaviors such as
privilege escalation, system control takeover, and vulnerability exploitation across both Linux and Windows environments.
Responsibilities
– Research and develop in-depth technologies on
Windows/Linux operating systems.
– Build mechanisms for attack detection and response for agents. This requires deep intervention into the operating principles and APIs of each operating system.
– Optimize system components to ensure performance, stability, and information security.
Qualifications
– Bachelor's degree (Good GPA or above) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunications, Mathematics – Informatics, or a related field
– English proficiency equivalent to
TOEIC 550 or higher.
– A
passion for in-depth research on either the Windows or Linux operating system.
– Knowledge And Experience With Malware And Reverse Engineering.
– 2+ years of experience in C/C++ programming.
